Sessions 200 - Opening General Session: A New Reality
Welcome to a new reality!  Our host Tamron Hall — journalist, television host, Executive Producer and yes, manager of projects — kicks off our day. She’ll prep you for what’s in store, share some exciting PMI updates, and introduce our keynote:

Chef José Andrés in conversation with PMI President & CEO Sunil Prashara. As a Chef, humanitarian and manager of big, global projects, José Andrés is a committed advocate of food and hunger issues, known for championing the role of chefs in the national debate on food policy. In 2010, he formed World Central Kitchen, a non-profit specializing in delivering food relief in the wake of natural and humanitarian disasters. Since serving nearly 4 million meals to the people of Puerto Rico following the devastation of Hurricane Maria, World Central Kitchen has responded to dozens of disasters worldwide and distributed tens of millions of meals in the process. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization has partnered with restaurants, small farms, and community leaders around the country to combat food insecurity.

Session 201 - In Conversation: Book Club Series
Our first ever PMI Book Club finds renowned editor-in-chief and podcast host Bob Safian in conversation with Priya Parker, author of “The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why it Matters” (Riverhead 2018) and host of The New York Times podcast “Together Apart.” Priya will share her inspired strategies for gathering global teams to get meaningful results out of your virtual face-to-face time.
